Ergione capra (Simon 1884) was synonymized with E. dentigera (O.P.-Cambridge, 1874) by Eskov 1994, after Holm 1960; synonymy not accepted in Ubick et al. 1994 atlas (per Locket 1965, Crawford 1988) or by Buckle et al., 2001; accepted by Paquin & Dupérré, 2003. This specimen was collected in a group of males and females in Pierce County, Washington state, in August 1991 and det by RL Crawford.
